Welcome to the GMCVB Online Community portion of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (“GMCVB”) website (the “GMCVB Website”). We are glad you have chosen to join or use the GMCVB website. Before you proceed, you must agree to a few rules of the GMCVB Website. These rules cover the GMCVB Website generally, as well as the GMCVB Online Community section, any associated content, features and functionality including email and RSS feeds (collectively, the “Services”).

If you are new to using a community-focused website, we’ve worked hard to help give you the information and ability to get comfortable and to take part. As a general rule, the GMCVB Online Community works best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. • If information posted by you is found to be inaccurate, please make corrections immediately.

• If your content is syndicated from another site, do not place advertising in your content’s RSS feed before it is aggregated to the GMCVB Website.

• Do not post material that infringes another person’s copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.

• Please appropriately cite content sources via links or some other form of giving credit!

• Do not post information that you know to be confidential or sensitive or otherwise in breach of the law or the rights of another person.

• The GMCVB does not accept responsibility for information posted by users in the GMCVB Online Community.

• GMCVB Online Community users retain the copyright to their content, but give permission to the GMCVB to redistribute any user-posted content as deemed appropriate by the GMCVB.

• Because all information disclosed in the GMCVB Online Community becomes public information, you should exercise caution when sharing any of your personal information.

• Do not intentionally interfere with or disrupt the GMCVB Website, the GMCVB Online Community or its use by others.

All GMCVB Website comments and other user-posted content are subject to moderator review. If the GMCVB decides in its sole discretion that any user-posted content is not in keeping with the above guidelines or other Terms of Use, the GMCVB may remove any such user-posted content and terminate a user’s privileges in using the GMCVB Website and/or the Services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the GMCVB, its members and affiliates (and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms of Use or any of your activity or content on the GMCVB Website, including the GMCVB Online Community.

Governing Law

Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Florida, without regard to choice of law provisions.

Things change and we learn along the way. Whenever the GMCVB changes these Terms of Use, we will post updated Terms of Use on the GMCVB Website.
