Musicality, The Music Release Party in South Beach, Will Rock Nikki Beach This Sunday

The Nikki Beach Music team is delighted to announce its premier Musicality event, which will take place this Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Nikki Beach Miami Beach. Kicking off the event will be the sensational DJ Bruno followed by the electrifying DJ Granite and the venerable Christian Falero.

The Musicality show is described by the Nikki Beach Music team as: "A musical party which will offer music lovers an opportunity to experience the freshest music from its inception. It will be a gold mine of musical discoveries and an opportunity to explore new sound and visual experiences

Musicality is set to be a weekly event and the Nikki Beach Music team, considered by many as the pioneers of the business, aims to bring the music industry right to you with the hottest and most inventive music around. Each week the music release party will feature a different lineup of Producers and DJ’s who will be playing only the newest compositions, straight from the studio and into your hearts

Kicking off the event this Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Nikki Beach, will be the sensational DJ Bruno. DJ Bruno has played alongside many of the industry’s biggest names Danny Tenaglia, Robbie Rivera, Roger Sanchez and Paul Harris just to name a few. DJ Bruno’s style is unique and eclectic though a natural progression his style encompasses Electro, progressive and tribal house to techno and progressive tech house.

Picking up where Bruno leaves off will be DJ Granite. Known all over the world for his superb skill, DJ Granite’s music leans toward the middle of electro and big room house. DJ Granite has kept crowds moving in clubs everywhere from Australia to Ukraine and his production skills have been commissioned by the likes of Madonna, Donna Summer and Funkerman to name but a few.

Bringing the party home is the venerable Christian Falero who has been at the forefront of the club scene for the past few years creating hits that have been used internationally by DJ’s from multiple continents. His sound combines house rhythms with strong leads and in your face baselines. Christian Falero earned the title of Miami’s number one producer for 2007-2008 and has had numerous hits including the smash remix for George Morel’s “Let’s Take Drugs” which helped to further solidify his place amongst the most prestigious names in dance music.

Nikki Beach invites all lovers of music and dance to join us for the first of many out of this world Musicality events…don’t just listen to music, experience it mind body and soul.

I first fell in love with Miami when I visited five years ago, when i went to visit my sister who lives in Clearwater and she drove to Miami to join me for a week, for a much needed break as she had been nursing her husband through his battle with cancer. Sadly he had contracted it when working as a builder. I remember the first evening after I had freshened up from the long flight, I could see the stress vanishing from my sister's face as we breathed in the clean sea air and strolled along the beach. The sun was setting casting a golden glow over the pastel art deco hotels nearby, which took shades of deep pink, pastel and purple,he palm trees in the background created the perfect backdrop for the clear blue sea. It was just magical, I kicked off my shoes and waded in the surf. I thought, this has to be the lovliest beach on the planet. Certainly the cleanest city beach I have ever seen. We stayed at the Bentley hotel, a little art deco gem on Ocean Drive. Staff were very friendly, it was a little home from home on the beach for the duration of our stay. Even my sister's little terrier - Snoopy received vip attention from everyone, from the maid to the concierge. Snoopy was so fussed over he did'nt want to return home sand whined as we drove to the airport. We found our rooms on vacation rentals.com. Individual owners of rooms advertise there and you can get a really good deal, our room was everything we expected and more. the staff could not be more accommodating. There was free wifi access, a very comfortable bed, and a fully stocked kitchenette in our rooms. But who feels like cooking when on vacation. We discovered so many great little restaurants nearby. There were a couple of supermarkets on 6th street which sold all we needed in terms of fruit juices and snacks. We would relax on the roof to catch the sunset and stunning ocean views with a glass of wine, and later walk across to either Puerto Sagua on Collins, or Tap Tap on 5th Street. Puerto Sagua is an unpretentious 50's style diner which serves delicious home style Cuban food. Tap Tap which features music nightly is inexpensive and serves Haitian food. There are also some excellent Italian restaurants nearby. We like La Locanda on Washington. We located lots of lovely little restaurants off the beaten track, away from the more commercial places on Ocean Drive. Though we did love Gloria Estefan's Lario's on Ocean which features great Cuban live music nightly, the trouble is you'll be so busy dancing your dinner is likely to go cold. But the waiters are lightfooted and are happy to trip the light fantastic to the Cuban beat. I have been back to South Beach three times since I first visited. I just love Miami and feel it has something for all, whatever age, class, interest. I love the arts, and tend to visit for the exhibitions which interest me. I also love music, and though I am not into the crowds which the wmc attracts but over the years I have discovered lots of terrific little venues which feature an eclectic mix of world music, from jazz to reggae, salsa to blues. For a area which is no more than 2 square miles it never ceases to amaze me just how much Miami beach offers the visitor. It's the ultimate global melting pot vacation destination and an example of how a great beach destination has got it right. I am still dreaming of my next visit as I sit here in a cold overcast grey city. For me Miami has it all!
